Frequently Asked Questions

At Tracy Pawn we accept a wide variety of items such as Gold and Platinum Jewelry, gold and silver coins and bullion, a variety of tools and electronics as well as some musical equipment.  We always recommend calling prior to coming in to see if your item is one we would accept.

We are open Tuesday thru Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm, Saturdays from 11:00am to 5:00pm we are closed both Sunday and Monday.  We generally close for all federal holidays.  If you want to be sure we are open, just give us a call and we will gladly tell you as well as keeping our message updated to reflect any upcoming closures.

In the simplest of terms a Pawn is a collateral loan.  In the state of California all Pawn contracts are for a period of 4 months.  The interest due on a loan is based on the amount borrowed and is set by the State of California.  Your item stays with us until the loan is paid and then is returned to you after you have paid the redemption amount on your contract.  Should you happen to allow the contract to default the collateral then becomes our property to sell.
